    LEGAL HUB

    Legal Hub

The protected operations layer for JapanSolved™ service terms, payment conditions, and confidentiality standards.

    Legal Hub

Clear terms for serious requests, private work, and Japan-side execution.

JapanSolved™ exists to help clients navigate Japan when the matter is too specific, too local, too sensitive, too fragmented, or too difficult to handle through ordinary online searching. Some requests involve research. Some require translation, judgment, coordination, negotiation, local verification, sourcing, travel support, business guidance, relocation context, private correspondence, or careful follow-up with third parties.

Because this work often begins before anything visible happens, clarity matters.

The Legal Hub is the central place where clients can understand the basic rules, expectations, and protections that support the JapanSolved™ service structure. It summarizes the main policies that govern how we work, how payments are handled, why certain fees are non-refundable, and how client information is treated.

This page is not designed to make the process feel distant or difficult. It exists to make the process more trustworthy. Serious work requires serious structure. Before JapanSolved™ can begin reviewing, researching, preparing, coordinating, or executing a request, both sides need a clear understanding of the terms that shape the engagement.

    Why this page exists

JapanSolved™ often operates in the space between what a client wants to accomplish in Japan and what they can realistically manage alone from outside the country. That space may involve language barriers, cultural gaps, unclear local procedures, limited public information, third-party communication, timing constraints, logistical uncertainty, or confidential personal and business details.

For that reason, JapanSolved™ cannot operate as a casual free advice desk or an unlimited open-ended messaging service. Each serious request requires time, attention, context, and responsibility. Even a short answer may require review, interpretation, verification, and judgment behind the scenes.

The Legal Hub exists to explain that structure before the work begins.

It helps clients understand what JapanSolved™ can do, what it cannot promise, when payment is required, why certain work phases cannot be refunded once started, and how confidential information is handled during the process.

In simple terms, this page protects the client, protects the work, and protects the trust required for JapanSolved™ to operate properly.

    The four main policy areas

JapanSolved™’s legal and service structure is organized around four core policy areas: Terms of Service, Payment Policy, Non-Refundable Policy, and Privacy & Confidentiality.

Together, these policies form the foundation of a clear engagement.

    Terms of Service

The Terms of Service explain the basic relationship between JapanSolved™ and the client.

They define how requests are submitted, reviewed, accepted, declined, researched, quoted, coordinated, or executed. They also clarify the limits of JapanSolved™’s responsibility, especially when a request depends on third parties, availability, timing, seller behavior, institutional rules, market conditions, legal restrictions, logistics providers, or other factors outside our direct control.

JapanSolved™ may assist with research, interpretation, advisory support, sourcing, coordination, local representation, communication, and strategic guidance. However, not every request can be accepted, and not every desired result can be guaranteed.

The Terms of Service exist so clients understand the difference between paid professional effort and guaranteed outcomes. JapanSolved™ can commit to serious handling, careful review, structured communication, and good-faith execution within the agreed scope. But JapanSolved™ cannot control every external person, organization, system, opportunity, product, seller, institution, or outcome involved in a complex Japan-side matter.

    This distinction is essential.

It allows JapanSolved™ to work responsibly without creating false expectations. It also helps clients understand their own role in the process, including the need to provide accurate information, respond in a timely manner, approve costs when required, and understand the limits of any service before proceeding.

    Payment Policy

The Payment Policy explains how fees, paid intake, quotations, service charges, project costs, and staged work phases are handled.

Many JapanSolved™ requests require real work before the client sees a final result. A request may need to be read carefully, translated, researched, checked against local conditions, compared against practical options, assessed for feasibility, or prepared for third-party contact. This work may begin long before a purchase is made, a booking is confirmed, a message is sent, or a final recommendation is delivered.

For that reason, certain requests may require payment before JapanSolved™ begins deeper review or execution.

Payment is not simply a transaction. In the JapanSolved™ system, payment often functions as commitment, authorization, and a filter for serious engagement. It allows JapanSolved™ to allocate time, protect operational focus, and begin work with a clear understanding that the client is prepared to move forward.

Depending on the request, payment may include intake fees, research fees, quotation fees, consultation fees, service fees, coordination fees, deposits, project payments, purchasing funds, logistics costs, or other agreed charges.

The Payment Policy helps clients understand when fees are due, what those fees may cover, and why paid phases are necessary for serious work.

    Non-Refundable Policy

The Non-Refundable Policy explains why certain payments cannot be returned once work has begun.

This is one of the most important parts of the JapanSolved™ structure.

In many cases, the value of JapanSolved™’s work is not limited to the final visible result. Work may include reviewing a request, analyzing feasibility, interpreting unclear information, researching Japanese sources, checking local context, preparing communications, contacting third parties, comparing options, developing strategy, coordinating logistics, or reserving operational time.

Once that work has started, the time and judgment involved cannot be reversed.

A client may decide not to continue. A third party may not respond. An item may become unavailable. A local opportunity may change. A request may prove more difficult than expected. A desired result may not be possible. But that does not mean no work was performed.

The Non-Refundable Policy exists to make this clear in advance.

It protects JapanSolved™ from being used for unpaid research, speculative inquiries, or open-ended requests without commitment. It also protects serious clients by ensuring that time, attention, and operational energy are reserved for cases that are properly activated.

Non-refundable does not mean careless. It means the work phase has value from the moment it begins.

    Privacy & Confidentiality

The Privacy & Confidentiality policy explains how JapanSolved™ treats client information.

Many requests involve personal details, business plans, addresses, schedules, budgets, private preferences, sourcing targets, relocation matters, travel needs, sensitive family situations, corporate interests, negotiation details, or other information that should be handled carefully.

JapanSolved™ treats client information with discretion and uses it only for service-related purposes.

At the same time, some requests may require limited information to be shared with third parties in order to complete the work. For example, JapanSolved™ may need to contact a seller, service provider, institution, logistics company, venue, professional office, local representative, or other relevant party. In those cases, only the information reasonably necessary for the request should be shared.

Privacy and confidentiality are not decorative promises. They are part of the trust architecture of the service.

Clients should also understand that confidentiality works best when both sides behave carefully. JapanSolved™ may ask clients not to share certain internal strategy, correspondence, pricing logic, sourcing methods, third-party details, or private operational information outside the context of the engagement.

The goal is simple: protect the client, protect the process, and protect the integrity of the work.

    Why clarity comes before action

JapanSolved™ handles requests that may be simple on the surface but complicated underneath.

A question about a product may involve sourcing, authenticity, availability, local pricing, shipping rules, seller communication, and purchase timing. A question about relocation may involve neighborhoods, documents, housing norms, schools, language barriers, and local expectations. A request involving business, investment, property, travel, private introductions, or sensitive matters may involve even more layers.

This is why JapanSolved™ requires structure.

Without clear policies, complex requests can easily become confusing. Clients may misunderstand what has been agreed. Work may begin before payment is settled. Research may be treated as casual conversation. Third-party uncertainty may be mistaken for JapanSolved™ failure. Confidential details may be shared without enough care. Time may be spent on requests that were never truly ready to proceed.

    The Legal Hub prevents that.

It creates a shared foundation before the case begins. It helps clients understand that JapanSolved™ is built around serious intake, careful assessment, paid work phases, defined scope, confidentiality, and clear engagement boundaries.

Policies are not walls. They are rails.

They allow the work to move forward without drifting into confusion.

    Before submitting a request

Before submitting a private request, making payment, sending sensitive information, requesting third-party contact, asking for sourcing assistance, seeking local representation, or following up on an existing matter, clients are encouraged to review the relevant policy areas carefully.

This is especially important if the request involves:

private or sensitive personal information, business or investment matters, sourcing or purchasing assistance, relocation or property questions, travel coordination, local representation, confidential correspondence, third-party negotiation, paid research, urgent deadlines, or non-standard Japan-side support.

JapanSolved™ is designed to help clients move through complex situations with more clarity. But the process works best when expectations are understood from the beginning.

If a client is unsure whether a request is appropriate, they may still submit it for review. JapanSolved™ may then determine whether the matter can be accepted, whether paid intake is required, whether a quotation should be prepared, or whether the request falls outside the scope of service.

    A structured foundation for trust

The Legal Hub represents JapanSolved™’s commitment to clarity.

It does not replace the full individual policies, and it should not be treated as legal advice. Instead, it serves as a plain-language orientation to the main rules that shape the client relationship.

The full policy pages provide more specific detail. This hub gives clients the larger map.

At its heart, the structure is simple:

    clear terms define the relationship.

    clear payment rules define commitment.

clear non-refundable rules protect real work.

clear privacy and confidentiality rules protect trust.

Together, these principles allow JapanSolved™ to handle serious requests with the care, discretion, and discipline they deserve.

Begin with clarity. Continue with confidence.

JapanSolved™ works best when both sides understand the path before stepping onto it.

If you are preparing to submit a request, continue an existing case, make a payment, or share private information, please review the relevant policies first. Clear expectations allow JapanSolved™ to protect your time, protect our work, and handle your request with the seriousness it deserves.

    A well-structured beginning is not a delay.

It is the first act of responsible execution.
